Are we coming by to install your lift? A quick set-up on your part can help to protect your lift from damage. Raising the platform all the way to the top allows the crane to get a more stable and secure grip, reducing the chances of something going wrong.

Raise it up before we come in the fall for removal, and it’ll already be set when we come around for the spring install.

With the new boating season and the new website, we’ve got a new feature to help you out: The Tip of the Week (TotW). Every Monday, we’ll be posting a tip to help you enjoy your equipment, and keep it in good condition.

It’s time to start putting in the lifts and docks, and to assure that the installation is done proptly and the way you want, there’s a few things you can do:

• Clear the area of obstructions: make sure that furniture, equipment, debris, and other items are out of the way of the crew.
• Make sure all the pieces are in the same place: If you’ve moved any of the hardware, make sure it’s been put back with the equipment. If we can’t find the hardware, we can’t install the equipment.
• Make sure that the crew is able to get into everywhere they need to–boathouses, sheds, etc.
• Let us know: If you have any special instructions, be sure to leave us a note to let us know what they are. We want to make sure that you’re satisfied with your installation.
• call now! If you haven’t called to schedule your installation yet, do so right away! We’re ready to get out on the water to start, and the sooner you call, the sooner we can get your pier and lift in the water for you to enjoy.
